Soil Clayey-calcareous plateau, south slope of clay and sand soils,
with sub-soils of iron oxide.
Age of the vine 45 years.
5500 vine-plants per hectare.
Varieties planted 65 % Merlot
25 % Cabernet Franc.
10 % Sauvignon.
Maturing Harvesting is done manually.
The vinification process is totally traditional, without filtering.
This wine is exclusively matured in barrels, one-third being new.
The barrels are fined with egg whites.
The bottles are stocked in a stone wine cellar at 11 meters deep underground.
